BEVERLY CLEARY

American children’s writer whose award-winning books are mostly enthusiastic and humorous type of genre. Beverly Cleary has been writing fictional children’s books since the 50s and is so loved that her books have sold more 91 Million copies worldwide. She got her degree from the University of Washington and moved on to be a children’s librarian which was the first career path she tried. She then decided to become a writer since it was what she wanted right from time.

Her first books titled “Henry Huggins” and ever since she has always been a favorite to kids because of her captivating writing skills. Throughout her career, she has received several awards including the Newbery Medal. She is now worth $20 Million and till today is still an inspiration to many authors. We do hope she has looked into getting a good insurance plan as she has passed a hundred years.
