JULIE GIBSON | 105

Julie Gibson has probably broken records by being the oldest celebrity in the world. Although currently in retirement, her acting days were glorious as well as her singing days when she ventured a bit into the singing industry. She retired in 1984. She never needed the services of a divorce lawyer as her husband died in 1981 and she never remarried. Even though she celebrated her 105th in September 2018, she must have gotten insurance already seeing as she is already older than most people.

Aside from acting, Gibson knew how to sing that’s why she was included in Jimmie Grier’s Orchestra where she was first discovered and joined Joe Penner’s radio program afterward. Her singing career was combined with her second film appearance in the 1941 movie The Feminine Touch. She joined the iconic vaudevillian group the Three Stooges on their two movies entitled Three Smart Saps and Sock-a-Bye Baby. Gibson passed away on October 2, 2019.
