Benedict Cumberbatch is an English actor who, despite now being in his early 40s, is still making it big in the movie scene. The Sherlock actor may portray brooding characters in most of his acting credits, but back at home, he is actually a sweet and loving husband to Sophie Hunter. Cumberbatch’s wife is an opera director and a known personality in the music world. The two started out as friends, which they remained for 17 years until they started seeing each other back in July 2014.

They got married less than a year later on February 14, 2015 at 12th Century Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Mottistone in the Isle of Wight. That must have been Valentine’s Day that they will never forget! They now have two children: Christopher Carlton, who was born in the same year they got married, and Hal Auden, born two years later.
