Andy Samberg got his start on Saturday Night Live in 2005, first as a writer, then later as a cast member. Since 2013, he has portrayed Jake Peralta on the hit police sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine, for which he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in 2014. Samberg tied the knot with musician Joanna Newsom, whom he met at one of her concerts, and described himself as her “superfan.” After five years of dating, the comedian popped the question, and they wed on September 21, 2013, in Big Sur, California.

The following year, the couple bought the Moorcrest estate in the Beachwood Canyon area of L.A. They also own an abode in the West Village in New York City. Given that he earns $125,000 per episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Samberg probably acquired these two properties without the need for any personal loans.
