How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders has been married to Taran Killam since 2012. In an interview, Taran told Us Weekly how he fell in love with Cobie. According to that interview, Cobie and Taran were bonding with each other in Fat Cat, New York, when he started to realize that he was falling madly in love in the middle of a game of pool and jazz music.

Because they loved listening to jazz, one of their go-to dates was looking for places that had live jazz. Soon enough, they got married in September of 2012 and had two kids together. Taran affectionately talked about Cobie, saying that she was his support system. Because he had a great life partner, he also had a great career and a wonderful family life. The two TV stars’ combined net worths surely did not need a mortgage when they purchased their home together.
