One of our favorite TV doctors, Dr. Alex Karev, had an interesting love story with fellow doctor Izzie Stevens on Grey’s Anatomy, which resulted in happily ever after. Just like in real life, Justin Chambers’ married life is just as interesting. The former Grey’s Anatomy star has been married to Keisha Chambers for 27 years. Instead of following a traditional path and earning a degree in college, Chambers entered the modeling industry instead and became the face of brands like Dolce and Gabbana, Armani, and Calvin Klein. All thanks to his modeling career, he met his future wife who was working as a booker during that time. The couple kept their relationship low-key before tying the knot in 1993.

The couple shares five kids. Despite Chambers’ fame, they decided to keep their family away from Hollywood. Though he never planned to have a big family, he was able to successfully juggle his time between his kids and work during his 15-year run on Grey’s Anatomy. The actor announced his departure from the show in early 2020, stating he wanted to spend more time with his family. He truly is a family man.
