While maintaining an active career, Harris’ romantic life is also put into the spotlight with his marriage to actor David Burtka. The two shared a longtime friendship before marrying in 2014, a decade after they first met. When Harris got the role of Barney in How I Met Your Mother, the couple moved to LA for ten years and from there they welcomed various milestones in their lives, including Harris’ official coming out as gay and their engagement.

Before they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Italy, Harris, and Burtka welcomed fraternal twins named Harper Grace and Gideon Scott.
